An appeal to a Superintendent of Achievement may be initiated only after an section 11 appeal to the Board of Education has been heard and a decision made.

The Student Appeals Branch can provide general information on how the appeal process works and how to access forms and information online. However, staff must remain neutral and cannot assist either party or provide legal advice.

bullet Appeal Application
The appeal application, which includes the Notice of Appeal Form and a copy of the Board of Education's decision that is being appealed, must be submitted to the Student Appeals Branch.
bullet What Happens Next?
The Student Appeals Branch is responsible for tracking the appeal as it goes through the various stages of the process, and for coordinating the distribution of forms and documents.
